She began her library career with the New York State Department of Correctional Services, establishing an online database of resources for peer counselors. This brought Dr. Argov to New York City and led to the establishment of a City-wide (five-county) resource database for community service providers, a joint effort of the Community Council of Greater New York and the United Way. Dr. Argov moved to Florida in 1986.   Prior to joining Larkin University, Dr. Argov was the Library Director for fourteen years at the Florida campus of American InterContinental University.  Dr. Argov has been involved in publishing professionally and in the community and has even been an assistant producer of a feature film entitled, “Beyond Good and Evil.” Actively engaged in her community, holding various appointed and elected board positions, Dr. Argov uses her skills and experience to foster adult learning,  cultivate critical thinking and advocate for human rights.
