Admission Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at Larkin College of Pharmacy. We are currently accepting applications for the Pharm.D Class of 2028 through Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS) beginning July 10, 2025, through June 1, 2026.

  • Completion of 60 semester credit hours of prerequisite coursework with a preferred 2.5 Overall GPA or 2.5 Prerequisite GPA
  • Two letters of recommendation (One letter from a faculty, advisor, or supervisor highly recommended)
  • Personal statement
  • If selected, a live interview.
  • Criminal background check and drug screening, if admitted

Notes:

    • We only accept completion of coursework with a grade of C- or better. Any courses in which you received a D+, D, or D- must be retaken.
    • Larkin University College of Pharmacy may consider coursework taken at Foreign Institutions that have been evaluated for U.S Institution equivalency by an approved National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) organization such as World Education Services, Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. and/or Josef Silny & Associates, Inc.
    • All required pre-requisite coursework is based on semester credit hours. If your institution uses a quarter system, please note that 1 semester hour equals 1.5 quarter hours, or 1 quarter hour equals .6667 semester hours. To convert semester hours into quarter hours, divide the quarter-credit hours by 1.5 or multiply the semester credit hours by 0.6667.

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Larkin pharmily and our unique learner-centered program. We want to ensure that you are prepared to get started as soon as you arrive on campus for Orientation.
