Dr. Arric is a founding administrator in the College of Pharmacy and since 2015 has used her career experience in education, student affairs, and counseling to build the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions, and to teach in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences.  She has worked in pharmacy education since 2011 and began as the inaugural Director of Student Services at the College of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida.  Dr. Arric received her doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Lamar University. She also completed her master’s degree in Counseling & Student Personnel and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from Oklahoma State University.  She has assisted students in successfully navigating higher education through administrative and program management, admissions, advising, career exploration, personal counseling, leadership and professional development, and supervision of professional staff.  Previous positions include the coordinator of graduate studies in the College of Education at Lamar University and counselor and coordinator for three federal grant programs. Dr. Arric has previous experience in the community with at-risk youth and crisis mental health.  Her research interests are student retention and persistence, leadership development, stress management, academic affairs collaboration with student affairs, higher education program development, mental health in higher education, and student wellness.
