Teaching Interests

Dr. Abdul Memon’s Teaching interests range from Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology and Emergency Medicine.

Scholarly Interests

Dr. Abdul S. Memon brings over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, interventional cardiology, regenerative medicine, and sports medicine to his role as a full-time faculty member at Larkin University’s Physician Assistant Program. A dedicated educator and mentor, he has taught PA students throughout Florida and across the country, helping future providers succeed both in clinical practice and on the PANCE.

Dr. Memon earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Miami Dade College in 2010, his Master’s degree from A.T. Still University in 2014, and his Doctorate in Medical Science (DMSc) from the University of Lynchburg in 2019, where he concentrated in Administration and Emergency Medicine Management. He also holds the prestigious Certificate of Added Qualifications in Emergency Medicine (CAQ-EM), a distinction achieved by only about 7% of physician assistants nationwide.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Memon serves as the Director of Advanced Practice Providers for Emergency Physicians of South Florida with Baptist Health System, where he oversees provider development, student education, and clinical informatics initiatives. His leadership includes directing the APP Fellowship Program and mentoring PAs as they transition into advanced clinical roles.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Memon enjoys traveling, discovering top dining spots across the country, attending his son’s basketball games, golfing, and spending time with family.
