Teaching Interests
Rose Anderson is a dynamic educator and community innovator with over 30 years of experience shaping education and engagement across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ghana. She earned her master’s degree in the History of Education, Childhood and Youth from the prestigious University of Birmingham, a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a certificate in Core Principles of Leadership from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Rose has a proven track record of building programs from the ground up, weaving together creativity, collaboration, and strategy to bring bold visions to life. Before joining Larkin University, she created and led a College and Career Readiness Program that empowered young women through hands-on community engagement, volunteerism, and career development turning ideas into measurable impact. She has also partnered with community organizations to use her singing and creative arts skills as a tool for healing, trauma recovery, and therapy, reinforcing her belief in education as both transformative and restorative.

At Larkin University, Rose serves as Director of Community Outreach and Assistant Professor for the Physician Assistant Program, forging bold partnerships with healthcare providers, civic leaders, faith leaders and organizations to drive meaningful change. She champions cultural exchange, global collaboration, and student engagement, ensuring students not only excel academically but also serve the communities they come from.

With a vision that meets local needs while embracing future global collaboration, Rose positions Larkin as a hub for innovation, where students are prepared to deliver patient-centered care, work collaboratively on medical teams, and drive transformative impact.
