Position Title: Student Affairs and Services Coordinator, College of Pharmacy (COP)

Description:

The Student Affairs and Services Coordinator supports the student services operations of the College of Pharmacy and works with students, faculty, and COP/university offices to ensure effective delivery of student and academic support activities, student engagement initiatives, and student progression. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities in an academic setting. The position is student-facing and involves coordinating day-to-day student services operations, student events, remediation, and administrative activities that support student success and enrich overall student experience. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Success and Engagement, College of Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate day-to-day student support services, including academic, tutoring, and remediation support, providing wellness resources, and student referrals.

· Serve as a primary point of contact for pharmacy students and faculty regarding academic guidance, student support resources, and progression-related processes.

· Coordinate student success initiatives designed to support academic achievement, retention, progression, and professional development.

· Support and coordinate student organizations, student engagement activities, leadership programming, and Student Ambassador initiatives.

· Coordinate College of Pharmacy events, including Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, wellness events, leadership training, and Commencement.

· Manage event logistics, scheduling, communications, reimbursements, travel coordination, and operational support for student-related activities.

· Coordinate tutoring programs, remediation activities, and early intervention processes in collaboration with faculty and student support personnel.

· Support the administration of examinations and coordinate accommodation, proctoring schedules, and related logistics for students.

· Assist with the preparation of reports, accreditation documentation, compliance processes, and continuous quality improvement activities related to student services and student success.

· Provide operational and administrative support to ensure effective implementation of student services programs, communications, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Intent to work with the students and support them

· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic setting.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn and use student support and administrative platforms.

· Experience in program development and event planning.

· Familiarity with academic services, student policies, and student development.
