The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the recruitment and enrollment of future dental professionals for the Larkin University School of Dental Medicine. Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating admissions operations, recruitment initiatives, applicant communications, and enrollment activities that support the School’s strategic enrollment objectives. This position serves as a trusted resource for prospective and admitted students throughout the admissions process while collaborating with faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure an exceptional applicant experience. The Admissions Coordinator also supports recruitment marketing efforts, social media engagement, event coordination, matriculation compliance, budget tracking, and inventory management. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency with technology, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, mission-driven academic environment.
– Engage with prospective and accepted students about admission requirements and application status through email and phone.
– Admissions Marketing Support: Assist in developing marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content, to promote the university’s programs and attract prospective students.
– Responsible for managing social media and marketing for recruitment purposes.
– Creating marketing flyers and content for social media, websites, and email communications.
– Responsible for tracking matriculation requirements for admitted students
– Coordinate recruitment registration.
– Order recruitment materials and maintain inventory.
– Coordinate budget tracking
Minimum Qualifications:
– Associate degree
– Strong interpersonal and written/verbal skills including public speaking.
– Proven ability to prioritize and organize.
– Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
– Experience with technology and software. Must know how to use Office products with advanced knowledge of Outlook and Excel (including formulas).
– Experience with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
– Ability to work with a diverse population and within a team structure.
– Valid Florida driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
– Professional admissions experience in higher education
– Experience with graduate/professional students and programs
– Experience with Canva or other graphic design too
