Teaching Interests
Dr. Mosley started his academic career in 2012 at Florida A & M University’s (FAMU) College of Pharmacy where he served the college for 6 ½ years. While there, he published several articles, served as a research investigator for various grants, was a member of several college committees, obtained additional certifications and trainings, presented various research projects, managed two clinical practice sites for APPE rotations and taught several didactic courses. His service and commitment at FAMU led to him being rewarded “Teacher of the Year” twice, promoted to an associate professor, and the granting of tenure prior to joining the Larkin family in 2019.
Dr. Mosley is excited to be home in Miami, FL continuing his academic career and tenure as a faculty member with Larkin University College of Pharmacy as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences. His main teaching areas include ambulatory care (chronic disease state) and HIV/AIDS management. He is passionate about teaching and expanding his clinical knowledge and vows to spend the rest of his career giving back to his profession.
Dr. Mosley is an advocate for HIV awareness and enjoys being able to educate others about appropriate HIV management as well as the prevention options available to reduce further transmission of the disease. Most of his research interest is centered around HIV/AIDS prevention and effective academic teaching strategies.
