Larkin University Summer Research Program (LUSRP) was launched in 2025 to provide undergraduate and high school students with the opportunity to experience research in pharmaceutical, clinical, and biomedical sciences under the mentorship of faculty members at Larkin University. The program allowed students to work on research projects aligned with their interests while gaining hands-on research experience.
Throughout the eight-week program (June 9 – August 1, 2025), participants developed essential research and analytical skills and engaged in scholarly discussions with faculty mentors. At the end of the program, students presented their research findings at a mini-symposium, supporting their professional development and scientific communication skills. The program also offered valuable opportunities for networking with professionals and receiving career guidance to help students pursue future careers in health and biomedical sciences.
